I have never done a full AP cho gath in a nomal pvp but i have tested damage with some AP items and personally i thought i was most effective on the training dummies with just death cap for my only AP item. His mana is always an issue if you decide to go full ap cho gath, but you could always ask for the blue buff. In regard to your teammates prob with cho midlane if thats the lane u r doing full AP its harder for u to roam to assist due to lack of mobility. Cho gath high true dmg build. Just make sure to hit some Q’s and you can feast them, or just clear minion waves real fast to get that hextech item. Even though they nerfed the dorans ring stack you still get an early lead with immense ap damage after your first recall.
